Kendra Smith

I can say humbly and without ego that I’m not your average artist. I started my musical journey at the age of (3) under the stern tutelage of my father, himself a musician who played numerous instruments, including the Trumpet, Drums, French Horn, and Keyboard. He was also a singer.

It was clear from the moment I was born that music was to be my destiny. I had my first public performance at age (6) and I sang an old hymn “Let Us Break the Bread”, I release my first cd at age (11) entitled ‘Where Would I Be?” and it sparked my career, I was featured in several magazines, interviews, TV Programs, and more….In 2010 I was blessed to connect with Garland Miche Waller (Music Director for John P. Kee) who is now my Producer and has produced my current project “Something New”

Performing, Composing, Arranging, Recording, Acoustic Guitar, Drawing, Fashion, etc………..

For the past 6 years, I’ve taking it upon myself to enhance and perfect my musical skills, range and vocals. At such a young age this is a necessary because my voice is constantly maturing. The result of my labors is a string of successful performances, along with audience and critical acclaim.
