Pastor Marlon Lock

It was 1981, at the age of 5, when the Lord spoke to Marlon Antonio Lock and asked him to preach His word. Without hesitation, he said yes. Pastor Lock (aka Pastor T) preached his first sermon at age 10 and also sang: “Walk Around Heaven”, by The Mighty Clouds of Joy. Since then, he’s been preaching, singing and playing drums at the church he grew up in, belongs to and now is the Pastor– all to the glory of God.

Before Pastor Marlon Lock's granddad (founder of Unity Gospel House of Prayer) passed, he told his grandson to record the song "Good Seed." As a result, Pastor Lock's debut album entitled "Good Seed Project" was birthed and independently released on April 4, 2014. It features "Big Man" Earvin Williams, from the Mighty Clouds of Joy and uplifting songs written by Pastor Marlon Lock. He proclaims: "With this album, you will realize that the seed had been planted. You were just a work-in-progress. Now... you're a Good Seed Project." The album is dedicated to his grandparents who nurtured him and raised him from 15-months old through adulthood.

His music can be described as "soulful" Gospel, uplifting and spiritual with a southern twist. Pastor Marlon Lock has shared the stage with many influential gospel artists and has performed on wonderful shows such as: Mcdonald's Inspirational Tour- Milwaukee stop, 2015 Stellar Radio Announcer Awards Show, Dr. Bobby Jones, Black History Celebration at Concordia University with Jonathan McReynolds, Zacardi Cortez, 2014 Yes Lord Radio (YLR) and Urban Soul Café Pre-Stellar Award shows, 2014 NBA All-Star Gospel Celebration, to name a few.

become sort of a back door approach to present the gospel of Jesus Christ.”
