Daytona "Yung D" Rhodes

Daytona "Yung D" Rhodes aka Day Day was born and raised in Milwaukee Wisconsin on May 1st, 1990. He was Diagnosed with AHDH (Attention Deficit Hyperactivity Disorder) and the doctors wanted to put him on medication (Ritalin) to help him to concentrate and to control his behavior. I give all the glory and praises to my Lord and Savior Jesus Christ for blessing me and healing through the power of prayer. In 2003 Inspired Kingdom Min. where Richard & Cassandra Holley are the pastors, Toni Smith was the youth pastor at the time and she encouraged all the children to participate in the youth program, I really didn't want to participate but out of obedience to my pastors and to my parents me, my cousin Edwin and a friend on the block T.J. put together a rap to some of my dads old school music and we memorized all the verses overnight, at the age of 12 years old I knew that God was calling me. Producer and recording artist Prince Valentino and his son "LV" were in the audience and they asked our parents to bring us to his office, my mom was the only one that showed up with all of us and he began to work with us at his studio and we did our first recording "If You Ain’t Down." The group began to experience difficulties and we soon broke up. Shortly after the break-up Christian Faith Fellowship Church gave a rap concert and invited "Cross Movement" and they inspired me to do what God had given me.  In 2004 God led me and my mother to form GODZCHILD INC., a management company and then we released a single with the help of the Lord called "God or Nothin."
